RCIA/Confirmation

Do you have questions about what it means to be Catholic?

RCIA stands for The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This program is designed for those interested in the Catholic faith or who want to be initiated into the church by receiving the sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.

Have you received baptism, Reconciliation, and the eucharist but not confirmation?

Confirmation is the last Sacrament of Initiation into the Catholic Church, where you are sealed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you’re a baptized Catholic adult who received Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, we offer Confirmation semester-based classes to help you receive the sacrament.

Since 2006, when the Catholic Newman Center was renamed from the Interfaith Center, we have helped over 120 people receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and Baptism, receiving approximately 60 converts into the Catholic faith.
